De Uijlenes has been a working dairy and vegetable farm for centuries while remaining in the same family for nearly two hundred years. The Little Barn is a cute yet modern building kitted out for a couple that wishes to relax and enjoy the serenity at De Uijlenes.

De Uijlenes is a picturesque farm, situated 15 km from Gansbaai and ideal for a tranquil leisure getaway.  The unpretentious village of Gansbaai is a fishing town and popular tourist destination in the Overberg district.

Both Southern Right Whales and Great White Sharks frequent the Atlantic waters of the Danger Point Peninsula and are a major draw card for the town. Situated between the towns of Hermanus and Pearly Beach, Gansbaai lies in Walker Bay at the foot of the Dynefontein Mountains with a magnificent coastline rich in fynbos vegetation.

Cancellation Policy

50% deposit is required to confirm the booking. 

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.

If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the booking total.

Cardholder, ID/Passport is required at check-in. *The credit card used for the online deposit must be present at check-in. All COVID related cancellations will be issued with a voucher for future use. You will be invoiced for any breakages incurred by you or any of your guests. De Uijlenes is not responsible for any damage, loss or injury to you, your guests or any property bought onto the premises.
