THE HOUSE

As the name suggests, The View has been designed to embrace its beautiful surroundings. The large patio provides uninterrupted views of the Langebaan Lagoon and all five bedrooms have an ocean view, designed for waking up to breathtaking views and the smell of the ocean.

LIVING

Come rain or shine – The View has been designed to offer the ideal breakaway in both sunny as well as cool West Coast weather. Take a dip in the heated pool, cool down under the outside shower, relax on one of the luxurious day beds on the spacious patio or kick your feet up next to the indoor braai. For the chillier nights/days, the main bedroom and lounge both have a gas fireplace, ensuring a cozy stay.

The villa’s spacious interiors aim to offer maximum comfort. Décor has been kept minimal and uncluttered, with clean lines and cool, calming colours to accentuate the ocean views. The kitchen is sleek and modern kitchen, and there is a spacious lounge and dining area with indoor braai, as well as a gas braai on the patio. In addition, there is a study with printer and a games room.

THE AREA

Langebaan enjoys almost year-round sunshine and boasts azure waters and unsurpassed natural beauty. 

The white sand beaches surrounding the clear waters of the Langebaan Lagoon are very popular, and the mild climate and protected waters of the lagoon make it the perfect location for many water sports, including sailing, kayaking, kitesurfing, and fishing. Even if you are a beginner, you can still enjoy Langebaan Lagoon. Most of the water sport shops and centers offer kitesurfing lessons, sailing lessons, water skiing lessons and windsurfing lesson. The wind almost always picks up by mid-afternoon. 

Langebaan is an internationally acclaimed Ramsar Site for its importance as a wetland and the tidal mud flats of the lagoon not only host many local bird species but also attract migratory birds every year. Thousands of seabirds roost on sheltered islands, pristine golden beaches stretch endlessly into the early morning mist and brooding salt marshes are home to vast concentrations of migrant waders from the northern hemisphere.

The heated pool is colour changing - adjust the settings to suit your mood!

Provided on arrival are coffee, milk and rusks.

There is DSTV/ Satellite TV in the lounge area, as well as a DVD player; freezer and fridge with cold water and ice cube dispenser and 2 wine coolers, and a full scullery with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as iron and ironing board.
