THE COTTAGE
The cottage sleeps 10 comfortably in three double rooms and one bunk room for children, and is serviced daily by a housekeeper. The kitchen is fully equipped and additional outdoor cooking facilities include a braai, fire pit and pizza oven.

Having recently undergone a slight facelift, The Oaks still has the quaint feeling that those visiting time and time again have become used to but offers a few more modern comforts too.

The Oaks Cottage is located on Katrinasrust Country Estate, a trout farm located near Mpumalanga, a haven for people wanting to escape to the country for some peace and quiet. The estate offers accommodation in peaceful and tranquil surroundings.

Guests should bring all necessary provisions with them, there are no nearby shops or restaurants. Milly's Restaurant is 30 minutes away and has a lovely Deli.

Hiking: Feel free to explore the farm on foot, from the river to the mountains, there's so much to see and explore.
Fishing: Fish one of the dams or head down the river for a bit more of a challenge. All fishing is reserved exclusively for guests staying on the farm.
Mountain Biking: Explore the forests and hillside on your own or with company.
Picnics: Spend a lazy afternoon next to the water with a selection of seasonal treats. Booking is essential.
Birding: From Fish Eagles to Kingfishers and Weavers to Cuckoos, come and discover the bird life on Katrinasrust.

Cancellation within 4 weeks forfeit 50% deposit, within 7 days 100%.
Exceptions may be made for extenuating circumstances, but please communicate with us as soon as possible so that we can do our best to accommodate changes.
