A stylish cabin sleeping two that is designed to blend beautifully into the Karoo landscape. Located in the Breede River District between Touws River and Montagu. Secluded, with romantic features including a wood fired hot tub, cargo net, outdoor bath and private boma area.

THE CABIN

Enjoying beautiful views, the cabin has an extra-length king-size bed and an outdoor bath, shower, hot tub, cargo net and Ooni Pizza Oven. The open-plan kitchen has a gas stove, basic cutlery and crockery and a dining area. The lounge has an l-shaped sofa, giant vetsak and a wood burning fireplace.

LIVING

A tranquil retreat nestled in the Karoo.The open-plan living area has a fully equipped kitchen with a SMEG gas stove, fridge-freezer, Smeg bean-to-cup coffee machine, air fryer, all the essential cutlery and crockery and a dining area, enjoying the views of the mountains. Southern Peaks is entirely off-the-grid.

The bedroom opens up onto a wooden deck with a suspended cargo net and an outdoor umbrella. Outside you will find a wood fired hot tub, sunken outdoor dining table on the deck, private boma area, outdoor shower, bath tub and cargo net with a large umbrella. 

THE AREA

It is located in the Breede River district between Montagu and Touw River. With beautiful views, the area is home to the succulent Karoo, the Cape’s famous fynbos and rare renosterveld vegetation. Wild animals like Eland, Brown Hyena, Aardvark and Steenbokkies roam free on the farm.

GOOD TO KNOW

Wifi is available. 

Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Firewood is provided. 

You will travel for approximately 18 km on gravel road to get to the cabin. A high clearance vehicle is recommended. The owners will escort you to the cabin if you do not have a suitable vehicle.

1000 hectares of pristine mountain wilderness to explore.

Unfortunately not suitable for children under the age of 17.

No smoking. 

Please avoid loud music.
