THE COTTAGE
The 94sqm self-catering cottage is situated a kilometre from Cleopatra Mountain Farmhouse. Having its own private access allows guests to enjoy privacy, peace and solitude. The views are spectacular, looking directly onto the river with the soaring mountain rising above. It is surrounded by the World Heritage Site – the Highmoor section of the Giant’s Castle Nature Reserve.
SLEEPING
2 en suite bedrooms and an attic en suite, suitable for up to 4 children.
LIVING
A lounge/ dining room with full DSTV, fully stocked kitchen and desk area. Outdoors is a private garden leading down to the Little Mooi River, covered veranda and boma with electricity, chairs, table, Weber braai and fire.
THE AREA
Tucked away in the beautiful Kamberg Valley close to Giant’s Castle Nature Reserve, and all the normal mountain pursuits such as swimming, mountain hiking and scenic walks are available.
Highmoor Nature Reserve makes up 90% of the property's border and has just been declared a world heritage site because of its inherent beauty. It is a 10 minute drive from the cottage in a normal motor vehicle (cars can be parked at the top).
There are three big Trout Dams up there stocked with Rainbow Trout. Wildlife includes Eland, Reedbuck, Oribi, Jackal, Serval, Rooikat, extensive birdlife and a huge diversity of flora. The cottage is situated on Cleopatra Mountain Farmhouse's 500 acres of rolling hills, and walking trails are available on the property as well.

Payment Policy
50% deposit on booking and balance 30 days before arrival.
R1,000 security deposit (refundable) is required, and full payment to secure your booking.
Cancellation Policy
Less than 7 days prior forfeit the full deposit
08 – 14 days prior forfeit 75% of the deposit
15 – 21 days prior forfeit 50% of the deposit
22 – 28 days prior forfeit 25% of the deposit
Any refunds on the deposits are at the discretion of management and are dependent on the ability to re-let the cottage.
