THE DOME

This unique stargazing accommodation is a hard cover dome surrounded by curtains. The comfy queen sized bed is fitted with electric blankets and high-quality linen. There is an outdoor bathroom with a shower kitted with eco-friendly amenities.

Whether lazing on the air bed with a book or soaking up the bubbles in an eco-friendly wood-fired hot, this dome promises the ultimate relaxation experience.

For your basic cooking needs there is a bar fridge, microwave and tea & coffee making facilities.

THE AREA

The incredibly beautiful area of land that lies between the Tsitsikamma Mountains and the sea stretches west to the Bloukrans River and east to Eerste River and is named after the San word that means a place of abundant water.

The area is like a treasure trove; overflowing with protected indigenous forest that bears ancient trees like yellowwood, hard pear, stinkwood, and ironwood; fynbos covered landscape and the appearance of entrancing animals and birds, like the shy Knysna Loerie. Described as the garden of the garden route, the Tsitsikamma actually deserves a more vivid description to encapsulate the beauty of the place.

GOOD TO KNOW 

Breakfast is included in your rate. The Misty Mountain Reserve team will collect you in a golf cart and transport you to breakfast each morning.

Battery operated lanterns and candles are available. 

Optional extras include; picnic baskets, braai baskets, lunch and dinner at the neighbouring lodge restaurant and or a pre-packed bar fridge.

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.

If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 75% of the deposit.

If cancelling 28 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
