Makanyane Lodge is an exclusive-use, family friendly home-away-from-home in the bush. Situated in the malaria free, Big 5 Black Rhino Private Game Reserve, Pilanesberg National Park. The Lodge sleeps 10 people with a maximum of 6 adults.

THE LODGE
At Makanyane Lodge, you will have access to a private open back game vehicle, allowing you to determine the duration and departure times of your game drives. The Lodge sleeps a maximum of 10 adults. Children over the age of 10 are considered part of the maximum number of guests accommodated. Those under 10 years are not considered in your total accommodation numbers. However, only 10 guests are allowed on the game vehicle, irrespective of age.

LIVING
Indoor features include a fully equipped open plan kitchen, living room with a wood burning fireplace and dining area with a separate TV room with a sleeper couch and guest toilet. There is a separate scullery and laundry facilities. WiFi and air conditioning is available throughout the lodge. Also available is a purified/reverse osmosis drinking water bar with fridge and ice machine.
Outdoors you have a swimming pool with sun loungers, and pool towels, a covered terrace dining area, an open air boma (Braai), pizza oven, sunset viewing deck, covered terrace living area, kids play area and a zip line.
THE AREA
Makanyane Lodge is located in the Black Rhino Game Reserve, which is a private reserve adjoining and incorporated into the Pilanesberg National Park. Approximately 185km/2hr drive from Rosebank/Sandton, and 1.5hrs from Pretoria.

Included in the rate is a private game vehicle and a ranger.
Children of all ages are welcome at Makanyane Lodge.
A coffee moka pot and plunger is available.
The kitchen is equipped with all cooking utensils, pots and pans, cutlery, crockery and glassware.
There is a double door fridge and chest freezer.

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
