THE COTTAGE
This solar powered Karoo cottage located on the Higher Karoo farm can accommodate up to 4 guests.
SLEEPING
Blaaw Hoek contains 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom; each bedroom has a double bed. The bathroom contains a Victorian bath. There is also an outdoor shower.
High quality bedding, down pillows and duvets provided as well as bath and swimming towels. Bathroom amenities are provided.
LIVING
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a kettle, toaster, gas stove and oven, gas bar fridge, pots and pans, cutlery, crockery, and utensils. The cottage makes use of solar power. The cosy living area features a fireplace. Outside, there is a covered patio with outdoor dining furniture, a braai area, lovely plunge pool and secure parking.
THE AREA
Enjoy fresh morning walks on the farm and endless dust rides on a mountain bike.
Beaufort West is the largest town in the arid Great Karoo region, and is known as the "Capital of the Karoo". With an almost unnaturally bright and startling blue sky and the most amazing landscapes with nature at its best, the Beaufort West Region boasts a healthy climate and beautiful weather all year around.

There is no TV or Wi-Fi.
Wood is provided for the equipped braai facility, as well as for the wood-fired hot water geyser.
