THE CABIN
If isolation and a digital detox combined with insane views are what you’re looking for, this is the perfect getaway for you! From the moment you arrive at the most unique entrance you’ll probably ever see and walk down the beautifully handcrafted stairs, you will quickly realise that this space is one of a kind. Carefully crafted with natural elements from the area, the stone, steel and wood blend in with the surroundings, taking nothing away from the magical views that await.

LIVING
Enjoy the outdoor shower with double shower heads to take in the stars, a wood fired hot tub with a couples recliner attached to lie back and take in the breathtaking views and sunsets. A cozy fireplace for those colder evenings, double bed, kitchenette and well equipped boma for braais or a bonfire. Aardts is one of those very rare finds. An architect’s dream with so much love and thought put into it. Upon leaving you’ll be wishing you could’ve stayed a whole month or even longer.
THE AREA
It is situated in the beautiful little Karoo. The small town de Rust is 16 km from this cabin.
GOOD TO KNOW
There is no WiFi. Cellphone reception can be found in the parking lot, about a 50m walk from the cabin.
The owners sell wood for R50/bag. Alternatively please bring your own.
Basic pantry items are provided.
Pets are allowed at your own risk, there is no perimeter fence around the property.
The closest supermarket is OK in de Rust.
Located 16km from the town of de Rust, +/- 15 minute drive.
Located 30 minutes from Oudtshoorn and 1.5 hours from George.
