The Shack is an open-plan unit with a queen bed and a kitchenette. There is a separate bathroom which has a shower only. This unit also has a balcony with outdoor furniture to enjoy the amazing views of the surrounding farms.

The Shack on Thaba eNtle Private Game Farm has all the essentials and necessities you need for a relaxing getaway in the the bush.

LIVING

This open-plan setting, allows you to maximise the views from every angle. The is a generous raised deck with a modular lounge suite and small table with two chairs. Downstairs you will find a fire pit, comfortable seating and your own private wood fired hot tub to enjoy being closer to the bush.

The kitchen is well equipped, but please bear in mind that there is no oven or microwave to prepare your meals. There is a Nespresso Coffee machine, two plate gas stove and fridge freezer combo.

There is a separate bathroom with a shower and a loo.

THE AREA

Thaba eNtle is a private family farm owned by the Nel family. With an immense love for the bushveld, the Nel family invested into this game farm in 2020 mainly for family-exclusive use, which later developed into a unique bush experience they wanted to share with the public. Located in the heart of the bushveld near Thabazimbi, Thaba eNtle is little more than a three-hour drive from Johannesburg and two and a half hours from Pretoria on well-maintained roads.

Home to exotic game and the accommodation and entertainment areas promise a private, exhilarating, and memorable bush-living experience. Sable, Golden Onyx, King Wildebeest, Golden Wildebeest, White Blesbuck, White Flang, and Saddleback Impala are some of the awe-inspiring game that roam the farm.

Enjoy memorable moments at the Boma, Tree Bar, various picnic and braai spots, or mountain views.

GOOD TO KNOW

Bath and swimming towels are provided. 

There is no microwave or oven in the kitchenette.

1 bag of complimentary wood is provided, extra can be purchased at R25 per bag.

Tea & coffee supplies are provided.

Breakfast and Picnic hampers can be arranged prior to arrival.

Compulsory R150 cleaning fee added to each booking for every 2 night stay.

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
