LIVING
The large lounge, dining room and kitchen area are light and airy, and open plan. These lead out onto a sun drenched wooden deck with a rim-flow pool, lending itself to both indoor and outdoor entertaining. The kitchen is fully equipped with a walk in pantry. For those chilly winter evenings there is an open log burning fireplace. There is a large barbecue which can be moved according to the weather.
THE AREA
Yzerfontein is a unique destination, and not only because of the spectacular seascapes, wild fynbos and wildflowers; the entire town is a designated conservancy where man and nature live in harmony. Raised walkways, well-defined walking paths and accessible beaches allow visitors to explore almost every inch of this magnificent coastline. The cold Benguela current delivers bracingly cold water, but this does not deter regular swimmers, surfers and almost every other water sport.

The Boathouse Suite is right next to the main house with its own separate entrance.
There is a Spar supermarket as well as basic grocery shops where you can purchase most of the basics for catering and household purposes. They always have a selection of fresh fruit and veg, as well as meat and groceries. They do bake fresh breads daily. You can purchase fresh fish from the fishing boats, but this is obviously weather and catch dependent. There is a fantastic butchery in Darling, which is well stocked for anything else you may need.
