LIVING

You immediately feel a sense of calm when you walk into Acacia House. The decor is earthy, rustic and comfortable, blending in effortlessly with it's environment. Awake each day to the sound of waves and seabirds, enjoy breakfast on your upstairs patio and relax under the stars at night.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering including a fridge, gas hob, electric oven and microwave.

The lounge area has couches and an indoor fireplace to get cosy in the winter months.

The upstairs balcony is a protected nook with a built in braai and a dining table with chairs. This is the perfect spot to watch the sun go down, blushing the sea of white Paternoster homes.

THE AREA

Paternoster is home to unbroken sunsets, dreamy corners and flourishing nature. This is a place where warm-hearted people, unspoiled white sandy beaches and enchanting restaurants welcome you to a beach holiday just two hours from Cape Town. Paternoster is one of the oldest fishing villages on South Africa’s West Coast. Many people believe that the name, which means ‘Our Father’ in Latin, refers to prayers said by Catholic Portuguese seamen when they became shipwrecked. Others believe it refers to the beads that the Khoi tribe wore, known as ‘Paternosters.’ Paternoster is also well known as a culinary hub, with some stunning restaurants for our foodies to experience.

GOOD TO KNOW

Powered by solar, not affected by loadshedding.
