LIVING 

Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove and dishwasher, two comfortable bedrooms, and one bathroom, providing everything you need for a relaxing stay.

For larger families exceeding four people, Weide Cottage offers a sleeper couch in the living room. Please add a note to your booking if additional bedding is required, and we’ll ensure it’s ready for your arrival. As a special perk, guests are invited to make use of the Boathouse and kayaks for a fun-filled day on the water.

Situated on Melkhout Guest Farm, located between Bonnievale and Swellendam just off the R60. Escape to the tranquil Breede River and breathtaking Langeberg mountains. GOOD TO KNOW 

Basic pantry items are provided; salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

Approximately 2km gravel road, before arriving at Melkhout Guest Farm when using the turnoff from R60 or Stormsvlei.

Wood (1 bag) and firelighters are provided. 

Ice can be purchased on the farm.

The nearest shop in Bonnievale is 20 km away and approximately 28 km if you are heading towards Swellendam.

Kayaks available for guest use.

Weide Cottage is not fenced and, to ensure a comfortable experience for all guests, is not pet friendly.
