Mount Grey Eco Cabin is situated between Caledon and Greyton on a farm in the Klein Swartberg conservation area, just over 90min drive from Cape Town. The cabin is built out of heat treated pine and balau wood with luxurious finishes inside.

THE CABIN
Powered by solar, this off the grid eco cabin is a nature lovers paradise. Take in the breathtaking scenery from a secluded field bath, wood fired hot tub or African Style boma with a fire pit.

LIVING
The bedroom and bathroom is separate from the living space.
The kitchen has a fridge with freezer & a Smeg gas hob to cook on. Its completely of the grid with solar, so use power wisely. No microwave oven. If you have a battery pack bring it with & remember to charge all electronics before you arrive.
The lounging area offers a chunky leather couch and a small dining table. The open plan living space seamlessly floats onto the generous wooden deck, fitted with sun loungers, a wood fired hot tub and wooden table. Beyond this you will find a field bath and an African style boma with a fire pit. The stargazing opportunities are fantastic from the cabin, so be sure take some time out to star gaze.
THE AREA
Situated on a farm in the Klein Swartberg conservation. There a number of outdoor activities for guests to experience, such as bird watching, mountain biking, visiting the restaurants, donkey rides, and hiking up to mountain pools, to name but a few.
GOOD TO KNOW
There is no WiFi. The cellphone reception is good.
Distance from Greyton:
Kitchen basics are provided: salt, pepper, spices, rusks and fresh farm eggs.
Wood, firelighters and braai equipment is provided.
The cabin is unfortunately not pet friendly.
