Baboon House was an old tractor shed which has been converted into a classic style barn. It has a large garden area surrounded by the majestic Cederberg mountains on a 3000 hectare farm. Guaranteed privacy, this home offers a swimming pool, outside shower, braai area and boule court.

Enjoy the peace and quiet at Baboon House, with no through-roads, be free to explore your surroundings on foot. The indoor fireplace makes this cabin super cosy in winter. Take advantage of the outdoors in summer and cool off in your own sparkling swimming pool. The covered pergola offers sheltered outdoor dining.

The kitchen is well equipped for a self-catering getaway. Available to you is a stove, fridge and freezer combo, kettle, blender, toaster and french press for coffee.

The barn is filled with beautiful artworks covetable antiques that the owners have collected over the years. You will also find an incredible book selection.

THE AREA

Nestled in the magnificent Northern Cederberg in a valley called Boskloof with the Jan Dissels river winding through the farm and the surrounding mountains the peace and tranquility of Baboon House is unique space.

There are wonderful hikes to explore and a river that runs through the property where you can swim. Enjoy this crystal clear river, with its dancing pools of clean and fresh water.

Clanwilliam is 22 min (18.0 km) drive away.

The roads are good but the last 6 km to the farm is a typical farm dirt road. A bit bumpy in sections but perfectly good for a normal two-wheel drive small car.
